Assassin's Creed Introduces Unexpected AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the darkness." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine sect.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Additional Material
Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This patch also brings the game's newest complimentary story content, titled "The Mystery."
